Just wanting to make the announcement as it will help to improve performance for the extensions using the jQuery library...
Some graphs that the jQuery developers have posted can be found at http://jquery14.com/day-01/jquery-14 I have already seen a major improvement in the speed of my extension since implementing the new library version... ...hope that this will help some other users speed up their extensions...
