Dear all, Something I find myself getting confused by is the sign of Last Offset and System Time. Does a positive difference in Last Offset mean the local system is ahead of the remote, or behind the remote? Does a positive difference in System Time mean the System Time is ahead of the chrony estimate or behind? The docs are petty unclear on this point.
Chrony and ntpd and RFC 5905 seem to differ on whether or not the transmit timestamps come from the system clock or from the estimate produced by ntp.
