Hi Herman... this may not be the exact application you are looking for,
given that you are using a buffer, but here is an example of how I have
used the ADSR ugen as a pitch envelope:

Step step => ADSR pitchEnv => SinOsc sine => Gain gain => dac;



0.9 => gain.gain;



440 => step.next;

(.005::second, 0.15::second, 1.0, 0.5::second) => pitchEnv.set;


while (true)

{

    pitchEnv.keyOn();

    10::ms => now;

    pitchEnv.keyOff();

    800::ms => now;

}
