Chris DeRose, You can find this letter, dated 17 July 1915, in Martin Gilbert's Winston Churchill, Companion Volume III, Part 2, pp 1097-98. Churchill put this letter in an envelope marked: 'To be sent to Mrs Churchill in the event of my death.'
I suggest you look up the Companion Volume because the account in the Guardian, 6 November 2008, is slightly inaccurate.
