Anthony,

If the store you are visiting is Hatchards then the person supplying their
Churchill books is Mark Weber.  You can visit his website at wscbooks.com

I apologize in advance for the question, but I remember someone on the list had
been a collector of Churchill books and hope you can help me.

I am in London house hunting and stepped into an old (it claims to have been
there since the 1780s) bookstore.  To my delight it had a section on Churchill
books and were offering what appeared to be high quality (though used) first
editions of "The World Crisis" and "The Second World War".  I was hoping one of
the bookphiles here might be able to point me to a site or give some advice on
how I can make certain they are first editions and how much I should pay.
