I am curious as to what figures influenced Churchill's
ideology.Particularly, in his early period as a Conservative and Tory
Democrat. Obviously, Lord Randolph and Disraeli did. I know that WSC
read Plato, Gibbon, Maccauly, and others. However, as Liberal serving
under H.H. Asquith who was a believer in the views of T.H. Green
Churchill aligned himself with that brand of Liberalism. Or would it
be "New Liberalism?

Any comments are appreciated.
