As stated in the article, Nixon instructed his speech writers to emulate 
Churchill.  We all know Churchill did his own writing.  This was unheard of 
even 36 years ago let alone in this day and age.  They did indeed break the 
mold when Churchill died.  Not only was Churchill the preeminent orator of the 
20th century, he was one of the greatest writers of the English language.  
Nixon was a man who could never emulate the likeness of Winston S. Churchill.
