Anthony, I'm pleased you asked this question, because I'm on a visit to
London and was at the Art's Club this past Friday evening and noticed this
bust in the drawing room. I asked someone [presumably a member] and he said
that WSC was a member of the club. I too would love any additional
information anyone might have.

Subject: [ChurchillChat] Churchill and the Arts Club in London

My wife and I attended a reception for alumni of her university at the Arts
Club in London. In the library were two items which may be of interest to
the list. First, there was a rather large bust of Churchill and secondly,
there was a painting that looked like a portrait of Consuelo Vanderbilt.

Does anyone know if Churchill had any connection with this club?

Regards,

Anthony
