Nobody can see the future. I think this is just manufactured news. As great
as Thatcher was, she didn't save the world. Blair is significant, but just
another PM. All PMs are not created equal. A fairer assessment would have
been to quiz people on Atlee. He's surely far, far, far less recognizable
today than Churchill. If people in Britain are still speaking English in 80
years, Churchill will be remembered.
