Thanks for the hint. I have read all of the memoirs, but none of the memos. Looking forward to interesting reading.

Subject: [ChurchillChat] How many have read the Memo's in Churchill's WW2 Memoirs

I wonder how many people have read the memo's at the back of the six
volumes of Churchill's WW2 memoirs.

About 1000 pages of 6 point text spread across the six volumes, filled
with a selection of thousands of memo's sent in chronological order
which give a far greater insight into the man than the actual memoirs.

I am guessing most Churchill Chat subscribers will have read the
memoirs, but I thought it an interesting question to ask how many were
hardcore enough to have read the memo's.

I did a book signing tour a while back and came across quite a few
people who owned the full set of memoirs, a few who had actually read
them all, but no one who had read the memo’s

The memos give a fantastic insight into his true character and
abilities. Far more so than the actual memoirs themselves.

When you compare them to the memo's at the back of the World Crisis
you can see just how much he had changed between WW1 and WW2.
