I look forward to these emails, as I suspect most of you do, for discussions of Churchill -- not current events, not attacks on the right or the left. Maybe if people have private squabbles, they can email each other privately. I cannot find for the life of me the source of this. Just a thought. Perhaps a new topic might be started: The miners found alive trapped in a well in Chile after 17 days, and with the prospect that it will take four months to rescue them. If you stretch really far, you can start a discussion about Churchill's time spent hiding in the mine in South Africa -- right down to the white, pink-eyed rats.
