You might also read Winston Churchill By His Personal Secretary Elizabeth Nel. It has a lot of specific detail about how he organized his day. It's available through the Churchill Museum, I believe.
Touring the War Rooms and then reading Mrs. Nel's memoir was the inspiration for me to write Mr. Churchill's Secretary, which will be published by Random House (US) next summer.
