Dear Antoine, You have a very good eye! My understanding is that it was painted in 1930 and also has a rather interesting provenance. The reason that we purposely didn't divulge too many details in *Chartwell Bulletin *is that *only *if we are able to help procure a buyer does the Churchill Centre receive a donation.
