I stumbled upon a recent book called "Cartoons of World War II" by Tony Husband. As you can imagine there are a number of familiar cartoons, such as "All Behind You, Winston." There are also a lot of unfamiliar ones from all the major countries involved, and many by German cartoonists. Churchill is frequently drawn as drunk or hungover, or in one case is a bulldog licking Uncle Sam's boot. After Hitler invaded Russia, their cartoonists turned on him.
Not a necessary volume, but fun to look through. Evan -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ChurchillChat" group.
