Marred however by the comment which follows :
However, I hope the group doesn’t fall into the trap of worshipping someone
who would make a horrific leader in today’s world. It is well documented
that Winston Churchill was a racist and bigot. He make it clear with quotes
such as "I hate Indians...They are a beastly people with a beastly
religion." Churchill’s comments on his hatred toward people in the Arab
world include referring to them as "barbaric hordes who ate little but camel
dung." Although his leadership of Great Britain during WWII is to be
admired, he has little to teach us about leadership in the 21st century.
An uphill struggle if ever there was one . . .
