Dear Friends:
 
Can you help with the Akha Journal?
 
I am wading into the typing and layout of the Akha Journal 3.
While I am doing this I have to lay aside all other forms of work, as it is a full time process.
 
The Journal is going to be split in half, the first half will be about Akha life and times, and the second half is going to be about the current Akha Human Rights situation. There are going to be a LOT of photographs. Photo resolution will be a lot better than last time as we are going to be printing right off of disc rather than plates made of prints from an inexpensive computer printer. Estimates that I have right now of size is from 600-800 pages, the same basic page format as last time, 9 x 7 1/2. This time there will be a color on the back and cover.
 
Can you spare a dime to help cover some of the expenses of getting this 3rd Akha Journal pulled together?
