April 6-8, 2007 -- WMR has learned that a number of high-level British government officials were fingered by the FBI in the anti-pedophile law enforcement investigations Operation Ore (UK)/Avalanche (US). Fleet Street newspapers were threatened by the Tony Blair government with immediate D-Notices, censorship orders, if they pursued the story when details of British politicians' involvement first surfaced in 2001 and 2002. The re-emerging scandal could adversely affect the future prospects of Blair's heir apparent, Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown, as well as other top Labor Party officials.
