There's no implication of support for anonymous logon. Your comment was about being unable to use Solaris CIFS in an Internet cafe to share files, and I see no requirement for anonymous access to do that. That's easily achieved by creating a single account and making the account name and password available to everyone in the cafe. This has nothing to do with whether or not the customer is always right or, as I assume you are implying, customer service. You seem to have inferred from the original conversation that I have rejected a request for anonymous logon support and that is most certainly not the case. From my perspective, all we have at this point is a discussion around convenience, process and security concerns.
