I don't know whether this is a CIFS problem, or a more general ZFS one. I have a snv_103 pool created from three iscsi targets. I deliberately booted solaris while the iscsi targets were offline, so it booted with the zpool offline. I then powered on the iscsi targets, enabled discovery, and watched as ZFS detected the devices and brought the pool online.
That went really well however ZFS didn't bring the CIFS share online. I had to manually run "zfs set sharesmb=on" again, at which point the share started working fine.
