using passwd again will add a new entry for the user with the changed
uid. passwd is the only tool we currently have, beyond that vi needs
to be used to edit the file.
The format of smbpasswd is described in the PSARC 2007/544

Is there a command to do it? The format of /var/smb/smbpasswd is not
described, and I suspect it's not-an-interface.
