heya,

I've setup a simple ZFS/CIFS file server at home, as per the instructions here:

www.genunix.org/wiki/index.php/Getting_Started_With_the_Solaris_CIFS_Service

The pool is called datastore, and it has a few subfolders/filesystems under it
(e.g. documents, books, videos etc.)

I had some issues with "Access is denied", on the subfolders, but not he root.
I set aclinherit to passthrough on datastore. I've also run the following, as
recommended on another thread
(http://opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?messageID=311103&#311103):

/usr/bin/chmod A=everyone@:full_set:fd:allow /path

as well as making it recursive with -R.

However, the funny thing is, from within Solaris, I can access the directory
fine as the user "victorh".

However, when I try to mount the share from within Windows, as that user
(victorh), I can access anything in the root I get an "Access is denied" on any
subdirectories.

Hopefully this is something rather basic and silly I've omitted?

Cheers,
Victor
