Hi All, After spending quite some time getting CIFS up and running I've now found that when I copy a large amount of data to the OSol box, the connection dies and windows reports machine unavailable.
If I try browsing to it in the network neighbourhood it is visible but will not let me connect, possibly windows being a bit slow on spotting the machine dying.. I'm running 2009.06 snv_111a in a windows workgroup environment, and the zfs share has everyone with full access. I have noticed that after sometime the connection does return without any assistance from me. As a side note, I have a connection to the Osol box with VNC and that appears to bomb out too. Just thought I'd share my problem and also hope that someone might have some tips as to debugging this problem. More than happy to work through some kind of diagnostic route if anyone can help.
