> Rather than respond to each point below...
Thanks Alan, you answered my questions concerning security/foolproof issues.

Nonetheless, if I may, the other layer of questions remains open ;)
Specifically,

1) what is the intended scenario for homedir autoshares and share exec
properties?
What is supposed (and not supposed) to be a separate ZFS filesystem, for
example?
Should each user home be a filesystem dataset, or are they assumed to be
directories under a common dataset (which has the exec properties)?

2) Are these share exec properties intended for sharectl only, or for zfs
dataset
properties too (if yes, please see questions with my concerns on inheritance of
this property in the original post)?

3) Is it okay to mix in one system shares configured by ZFS properties and
shares
explicitly configured by sharectl? At least, if these are different shares ;)

Is it perhaps reasonable to make a share like \\server\CreateHome with sharectl
maping script, and upon accessing it the named user's home dataset would be
initialized (iff it is absent) and shared with zfs sharesmb/sharenfs?

TIA, //Jim
