The kernel CIFS is working well, but I cant find any instructions on how to advertise the CIFS shares like samba does with nmbd. My windows machines can access the shares by name, but can't discover the machine on their own.
Is this planned functionality? done by another component (like dns-sd is used for afp)? or theres some option I havent found?
