I had seen messages on here indicating that people were having good luck with 117+. And from my own testing with 118 the particular bug where rebooting/disconnecting clients that caused the cifs service to hang seemed to be fixed.
However 118 is exceptionally unstable. I'm not exactly sure what is causing the machine to hard lock but larger file operations to cifs shares seems to trigger rather quickly (with in a few minutes). Maybe it's a ZFS bug? Is there something I can run to try and figure out what my have caused it to lock up.
