It's running with LDAP only. So it seems i need Samba. Do i lost
performance with this Solution? Or will it be available in snv_121?
It’s not even in 123. It hasn’t been updated since 23-June-2009. We
almost certainly won’t be seeing a solution until at least 126/127
even if somebody was working on it. I don’t know when there will be
an update but it’s something I’m keen to see functional.
Of course there will be a performance “penalty” running Samba instead
of the in-kernel CIFS solution, but it won’t be any worse than running
Samba on linux.
