I'm not aware of any Solaris tools that will back them up, at least not explicitly. (But note that I wouldn't necessarily know about such tools; I came in a bit after the bulk of the work for SID support.) With the "ad" module in your nsswitch.conf for passwd and group, a normal user/group lookup will retrieve fully-qualified n...@domain names for Active Directory users/groups; any tool that backs up and restores user/group identification using names (instead of UIDs) might well "just work".

The simple answer would be to use Windows tools.
