don't know if that's important: mounting the filesystem containing NDW and "Neuer Ordner" from a debian linux maschine via nfs3 there is no problem accessing the files.
sharing the mounted nfs filesystem with samba even restores the umlaute in the filenames! "M▒nchner Freiheit.mp3" solaris -(nfs)-> debian -(samba)-> windows = "Münchner Freiheit.mp3" that means to me: the bug is in the cifs service of zfs. or? that will be the way to rescue my files. but if needed i can provide you with informations needed for debugging.
