Given that the linux smbfs is heavily dependent on samba, I'd suspect it's the same problem I'm with linux smbfs. Because the client works with all other smb servers that I have access to (samba, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, NetApp OnTap) I suspect it's an issue with the opensolaris smbd. > This one I haven't figured out yet; I get around it by having my nameservice > (usually /etc/hosts...) point my server name to 127.0.0.1. I suppose I could do that, but right now I have the hostname in /etc/hostname.bge0 and the proper IP address for basestar in /etc/hosts. -B -- Brandon High : [email protected] Always try to do things in chronological order; it's less confusing that way. _______________________________________________ cifs-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/cifs-discuss
