the zpools that i am using were created under solaris 10_u8, which apparently does know about the sharesmb zfs property but doesn't do anything with it.
now that i am trying to get opensolaris 2009.06 or later to use the cifs sharing, i am just wondering what will happen if i go back to solaris 10. will the zpools continue to work? i guess i'm asking if 2009.06 or later requires an upgrade to the zpool version to take advantage of the cifs functionality. i won't be using dedup or any other features that are not also available on s10. -frank _______________________________________________ cifs-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/cifs-discuss
