It's on our roadmap but I don't have a time frame right now.

Note that this is a discussion list for Solaris CIFS and not
the storage product. Even if I have a date for a feature or
bug fix that would be the Solaris date and not the appliance
date.

Because more and more windows clients are SMB 2.0 is enabled by default in the 
Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 operating systems and Windows 7 with SMB 
2.1 version.

Good performance and security are from customer view.
