Hi Matthieu, Thanks for contacting us regarding MS-MCI.
Someone from our team will contact you as soon as we have news or questions for you. Thanks and regards, Sebastian Canevari ________________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Matthieu Suiche [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, August 31, 2008 8:28 AM To: Interoperability Documentation Help Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [cifs-protocol] Lack of information in MS-MCI about MSZIP As a PFIF subcontractor, I am requesting correction assistance: In 1.3, the documentation says "MSZIP compression has only minor variations from Phil Katz's DEFLATE method." but minor variations are not explained. Functions: MCICompress() Moreover, the documentation also indicates "MCICompress: Calls a standard implementation of the deflate() function, as specified in [RFC1951]." But it looks it doesn't use a standard deflate() function, you don't explain what parameters you use for deflateInit(). Furthermore, we can read. "MCICreateCompression: Initializes an MCI_CONTEXT structure (described later in this specification)." But this is never described in the specification. Please update this specification, Thanks, Regards, -- Matthieu Suiche _______________________________________________ cifs-protocol mailing list [email protected] https://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/cifs-protocol _______________________________________________ cifs-protocol mailing list [email protected] https://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/cifs-protocol
