Not really (because the buck is passed to APDS, but not received there),
but I really don't care either.   It is an interesting historical

While the historian and pedant in me is dissatisfied, I'm otherwise
quite happy for this to be concluded here, I don't see any reason to
waste any more time on this bit of history.
