How can I tell Samba or Windows that large files is ok?

We're having a problem writing large files over 2GB from a Windows 2003
server to a mapped Samba share on Solaris 9.
The Solaris file system is mounted with the largefiles option and I
created a 3GB file on it from Solaris just to be sure.
