Hi Edgar, I've put the new traces up here:
http://www.samba.org/tridge/ttt/ipv6-4.zip > Please enable the following GUIDs for ETW tracing. > > logman create trace minio_dns -ow -o c:\minio_dns.etl -p > "Microsoft-Windows-DNS-Client" 0xffffffffffffffff 0xff -nb 16 16 -bs 1024 > -mode 0x2 -max 2048 > logman update trace minio_dns -p {1540FF4C-3FD7-4BBA-9938-1D1BF31573A7} > 0xffffffffffffffff 0xff > logman update trace minio_dns -p {609151DD-04F5-4DA7-974C-FC6947EAA323} > 0xffffffffffffffff 0xff > logman update trace minio_dns -p "Microsoft-Windows-DNS-Server-Service" > 0xffffffffffffffff 0xff > logman update trace minio_dns -p {57840C25-FA99-4F0D-928D-D81D1851E3DD} > 0xffffffffffffffff 0xff > logman update trace minio_dns -p {F230B1D5-7DFD-4DA7-A3A3-7E87B4B00EBF} > 0xffffffffffffffff 0xff > logman start minio_dns thanks for the commands. The only one that failed was for the DNS-Server-Service, as the Windows box doing the join is a workstation not running its own DNS server. I used tracerpt to dump XML for the etw trace, and had a look at the result. It doesn't look like it contains anything interesting, although you may be able to get more out of the etl file. If it matters, the Windows client doing the join is version 6.1, build 7600 (w2k8r2). Cheers, Tridge _______________________________________________ cifs-protocol mailing list [email protected] https://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/cifs-protocol
