i have found out the solution but ran into another problem which is :
when i am compiling the code it comes up with the following:
Compiling C file ocamlutil/perfcount.c
In file included from D:/ObjectiveCaml/lib/caml/mlvalues.h:22,
from ocamlutil/perfcount.c:92:
D:/ObjectiveCaml/lib/caml/config.h:106: error: parse error before "int64"
D:/ObjectiveCaml/lib/caml/config.h:106: warning: type defaults to `int' in
decla
ration of `int64'
D:/ObjectiveCaml/lib/caml/config.h:106: warning: data definition has no type
or
storage class
D:/ObjectiveCaml/lib/caml/config.h:107: error: parse error before "uint64"
D:/ObjectiveCaml/lib/caml/config.h:107: warning: type defaults to `int' in
decla
ration of `uint64'
D:/ObjectiveCaml/lib/caml/config.h:107: warning: data definition has no type
or
storage class
In file included from ocamlutil/perfcount.c:93:
D:/ObjectiveCaml/lib/caml/alloc.h:34: warning: parameter names (without
types) i
n function declaration
make: *** [obj/x86_WIN32/perfcount.o] Error 2
from looking at line 106 it seems the compiler "thinks" i am using WIN 64
but the ARCHOS is win 32
