Hello (CIL) World.
I have a question about the CIL merger. Up until this point, I have been
able to successfully pass the "-c" flag to cilly to prevent it from
attempting to link the final result, since the tool I am writing that uses
CIL does not assume that the code provided for analysis has a "main"
function. I am now trying to introduce the ability for a user to merge
several files together into one big file, using CIL's merger. However, the
"-c" flag, when passed along with the "--merge" option, does not attempt to
link the final result, but it seems to stop at the phase where the
intermediate .i file is produced.
Is it possible to pass an option to the merger such that it does not link
the final result, or am I attempting something that cannot be done?
Thanks,
Jon.
