        No, I don't.  Could be the dreaded

I don't see any reason not to hard-code `Golf'.
It never produced any false positives (within
its one-level limits of course), and shrunk
`Olf' alias sets of 1800+ pointers to some 20,
IIRC.

        Cadillac solution.  The Linus way would
be just to change "ptranal.ml" and wait if big
waves of complaints start to roll in.  A
command-line switch pays, if we have more
algorithms to choose from, but `Steensgaard' is
not plug-compatible (yet).  Shouldn't it be
slow, too?
