I can't believe that the reason is because of a 400kb attached file.

If possible, I would suggest you of create a compressed file like tar,
zip, bz2 or what it is better for you. You will see that your .op file
from 400k will become at least 1/5 of the original size.
Yep, compressing could be a workaround but hey... as said above, we're
in 2019!
