so, I spend some more time trying to get packaging on BSD running.

I think I have first results, while I probably need more assistance
about NetBSD's options/configuration.

Upgraded my 9.2 to 9.3, and also packages.

some ports do not fit on my small (5 GB) virtual hdd, and netBSD also
does not know NFS v4 yet, so my default mount from Slackware failed
here.

But I used tmp pseudo harddrive attached to netbsd VM like this

qemu-system-i386 -hda netbsd-92.qcow -hdb /dev/shm/tmp_1gb_ext2
-enable-kvm -smp 2 -device ES1370 -boot c -netdev
user,id=myslirp,ipv6=off -device e1000,netdev=myslirp -m 512 -cpu
pentium2

and mounted it inside VM with
mount -t ext2fs /dev/wd1 /mnt

port for NetBSD specifically does not have OpenEXR support yet,
probably I need to add some more includes. ... But basic mpeg2 file
playback works.
