I meant the 1440x1080 hdv file which (the first) bd.m2ts was originated
from.
Ah, sorry.
The 3 videos I had started from to make the BD Render were not
1440x1080, this size was just set in the BD Render window. The three
project's files were:
sad_woman.mxf (a DNxHR render of mine from a h264/mp4):
$ ffprobe -hide_banner sad_woman.mxf
[dnxhd @ 0x60dc04c06140] frame size changed: 1920x1088 -> 1920x1080
Input #0, mxf, from 'sad_woman.mxf':
You could possibly try to do a corresponding down-conversion from
1920x1080 using normal Rendering and Set format Preset 1440x1080. This
to see if this Format preset works better or not?
.
Source_1:
bd.m2ts; 1440x1080; SAR 1:1; DAR 4:3
Compositor: Display stretched vertically; square px.
