Stefan, I am not seeing any anomalies with the wave forms either when zooming way far out or scrolling. I compared March 11 build with an old July 29, 2024 build.
You might want to test this by using a temporary new bcast5: CIN_CONFIG=/tmp/bcast5 bin/cin so that you don't lose your $HOME/.bcast5 settings. Meanwhile, I just updated a different laptop to the latest Fedora version 41 and will test it there when it finishes to see if some more up-to-date code/library is causing an issue.
