Is it stable enough to use it without frustration?
stability has been largely improved in last time. Im using it
heavily and generally didn't entcounter any serious problems.
I'v noticed this also. 1.2x series crashed after a few minutes, this one
is much better. Nice.
With respect to frustration I can't promise you anything. As with most
any pro software, you probably get lots of frustrating experiences if
you think a "normal" application should behave as if it was microsoft
word. You should really read the manual completely and try to understand
what's written there.
Well, right, cinelerra is not for starters in video world.
The docs/tutorials and so on for 1.2x series were ok, but the new
functions for 2.x are not covered by them. For example those fading
keyframes are very strange now. IMHO they don't work. the fading jumps
strangely rather than fade nicely. Is it known bug? I'v checked mail
archives and found one letter about this issue, but without any answer.
What is the most curent (or were are covered the differences between
1.2x and 2.x) manual for cinelerra 2?
