Hi there,

Few questions:

1) ubuntu binary packages - what sources has been used to make them?
    In "About" there is some old built date....probably not valid.

2) I managed to compile svn -> 4hours  ;-)
     (never ending loop of installing missing *dev in ubuntu).
  Finally i got 2 errors which i had to remove by hand:

- missing: ffmpeg/avcodec.h (i had to copy headers from quicktime/*/livavcodec... ) - in final link step of cinelerra there was missing /usr/lib/libesd.so an some functions
                where unresolved. By hand i added it in "makefile"

     Do you know those issues?

It would be not bad to make a list of ubuntu packages required to compile C2. Sometimes it is not trivial to find in which package is some particular function (like i spent 1h to get some xf86vmode.h ;)

3) So it runs - still in About there is some old "build" timestap. Nevermind... The reason to recompile was to fix faders ranges. It is really so annoying feature in C2 ..... Unfortunately there is no improvement in svn. But I have seen some pathes in mailing list - so is my question : were is the latest known patch for fixing faders?

4) Now i have 2 C2 - one in /usr/bin /usr/lib (from binary package ) and one in /usr/local/*
  Are there known any problems with that??

The best

    Marcin

Ps. Do you really not CARE about not working faders? There is so much disscussion in the forum, translation, plungins, themes are made but still the MOST basic functionality is buggy. Strange.
