Do you know how to use the files-> load files. This will put the media in the 
resources window under media (Window-->Show Resources-->Media). You can then 
create a video track (Video-->Add Track) and pull the media right on to the 
time line. If there is audio in your video you will need to have a video 
track on top and create one or two audio tracks below (Audio-->Add Track) 
depenin on if you are using mono or stereo sound in your media. 

If you need to add the audio in later just create the video track then add te 
audio in later.

I hope this helps. I learned Cinelerra but guessing my way through it. It was 
tough.

P.S. One nice new thing in the latest Cinelerra is the ability to pull in non 
raw MOV files. You can now just pull in mpegs or avi's. This is much nicer 
than before.
