Hi Scott,
I am using Cinelerra CVS package on both Gentoo & Ubuntu distributions
and I see the same pipe settings in both. I'm pretty certain they are
both fairly recent CVS packages. I'll check again this evening.

Thanks,
Dean

No -you are quite right- I just got the latest svn and I get the same line. Scott that freshpms Cinelerra version was compiled Dec 2005 so I guess this line changed since then.

Hi Dean,
I don't know for sure, but I assume you see different options than I because
either:
1) the version of Cinelerra you have installed is not 2.0 or
2) the version of Cinelerra you have installed was from
www.heroinewarrior.com and not cvs.cinelerra.org

Let me explain: there are essentially two code versions of Cinelerra, one is
the hvirtual distribution (www.heroinewarrior.com) and the other is the CVS
(cvs.cinelerra.org) distro. The version I have installed is for Fedora Core
4 and was packaged by Matthias Saou from the CVS subversion distro:
http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/freshrpms/fedora/4/cinelerra/cinelerra-2.0-0.3.20051210.2.fc4.i386.html

Thus, I did not compile from source or have an older version (<2.0) of
Cinelerra. I did specify at the top of my doc as one of the assumptions
that you have a properly installed (working) version of Cinelerra 2.0.

What Linux distribution are you on? Which Cinelerra distribution are you
running? Did you compile from source or install from RPM?
