Be careful! This broke the titler for me - whenever cinelerra tried to draw text in the compositor, it would crash. I fixed it by re-installing cinelerra. I'd like to see cinelerra support more character sets and IME's - I have to use the gimp to overlay Japanese text because it doesn't recognize Japanese characters (pasted from other editors) or scim.
