The only _right_way_ is using ffmpeg library from cinelerra and producing the multiplexed files directly, without any pipes, middle-encoding or anything else.
And this is what I want, with a few presets. Maybe an "advanced" section for tweaking all the parameters. But first and foremost, I want something that a naive user could just pick, and be confident that dvdauthor will not barf on it. Desired features: * Just another format, with a choice of "compression", like AVI and Quicktime. * Single pass rendering, without a bunch of temporary files * No dependencies to external executables; built-in with Cinelerra. * Common settings like "DVD compliant" set by default. -- Herman Robak _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list [email protected] https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
