I barely want to nominate myself, but when people have requested changes
to the web, I have usually implemented them, (i.e. change in package
locations... etc) I have also been the one who implemented the
svn_access.php script, and have been had a lot of experience in PHP /
HTML. So I am happy to continue doing these odd changes... Oh, I also
added more text to the "about us" page.
But the whole move the "site to a wiki" i have never done before, and I
am quite happy with php / html way that i have somewhat modified the
site to, (i.e. include a php file that displays the side-menu, rather
than have to edit all files every time!) It also allows for people to
write php scripts such as svn_access.php rather quickly... ( I wouldn't
know how to tie this php coded program into the wiki)..

on the long run... few perl scripts can probably translate data from one
wiki to another, bigger problem is getting someone to manage the wiki
from a) system administrator side b) content side
lab.dyne.org has moin moin but flossmanuals.net has twikitwiki
installed on it so it would be very easy to migrate.
Btw my idea was to use 2 wiki: one just for the manual and the other
for the wiki itself.
we also need to get the damned web page to a decent state - moving to
some CMS. Giskard does not even respond to email anymore...
So in short: we are in need of a webmaster! .... let the real web master
please stand up.
Giskard is having some *big* problem here in milan so he will not be
available for some time, neither for responing to the email.
so...
let the *new* web master please stand up!
:)
bye
