Normal (non-hd) material rendering to DV doesn't take that long I think it
is maybe even faster than realtime on an opteron. But it also depends on
what you are doing. A normal documantary or instruction video are rather
straight forward.

I tryed to use ffmpeg to convert the dv output to something smaller. But
the sound was getting worse. Probably a glitch. But why would you want to
render to something compressed from Cinelerra?
